A Parish Nurse is a licensed nurse volunteer who helps coordinate volunteers in visiting the sick and elderly, providing occasional meals for them if needed, as well as transportation if needed.  The Parish Nurse helps recommend referrals as necessary.  Other duties include helping coordinate Blood Drives at the parish and taking blood pressures as needed.  The ministry includes a licensed volunteer School Nurse with volunteers being made available for health screenings and such at our school.
