"And he appointed twelve, whom he also named apostles, to be with him, and to be sent out to preach." — Mark 3:14

Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to His apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time. It includes three orders: deacons, priests, and bishops. Priests act in the person of Christ the Head to shepherd the faithful and administer the sacraments, while deacons serve the Church in ministries of charity, the Word, and liturgy.

Vocations: Is God calling you or someone you know to the priesthood or religious life? We encourage young men and women to pray regularly for guidance and speak with our pastor or the Diocesan Vocations Office.

Supporting Vocations: St. Jude Parish actively supports and prays daily for vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life from our own community. We are deeply blessed to currently have three men from our parish discerning the priesthood in the seminary.
